When I started Dentosophy in January 2010, I didn't really know what I was going to find, but I knew it was important to me ...
I have been a dentist since 1992 (I studied in Marseille) and have worked as a collaborator in different regions of France and overseas, following the military moves of my husband. This life did not bother me, and I enjoyed changing places and life after a few years and starting over... I am someone who is very adaptable and I believed I was happy.
A two-year stay in New Caledonia made me realize that I was not well in my work, I started to question "the meaning of life"; I was looking for another way to treat... But which one?
I began several trainings:

Naturopathy (I stopped after one year)

Bach Flowers

Essential Oils

Then a training in foot reflexology that I completed and even went further, becoming a trainer. I learned a touch that I did not know, a different contact with patients, an openness to the globality of things... And a link between the mouth and the rest of the body that I had not yet grasped. I gained confidence in myself, I spoke in public and led a group.
In parallel, I continued practicing dentistry and sought trainings in posturology, occlusodontics... All of this interested me, but I had a hard time putting into practice what I learned... and then something was missing...
In 2006, I made a trip to Peru to meet a shaman and I experienced the fact of being part of everything, I felt it within me... but it did not last ( !)
In short, I had questions in me that did not find real answers; I went to do a 10-day meditation retreat that "re-centered" me on a personal level.
And I advanced like this with highs and lows without really finding my way.
In 2009, I went through a period during which I felt really bad; I felt "dispersed"; I did not know who I was or what I wanted to do with my life: I was a dentist, I was a reflexologist, I did not flourish in any of these two disciplines and I did not know what I wanted to do; I no longer felt any light in me, I was tired, sad, and without dreams.

I then took some acupuncture sessions with the person who trains my husband in Taoist medicine (I also followed a year of training with him), it helped me a lot; I started theater and met Dentosophy through a friend who talked to me about something that according to her "would be good for me".

I read Michel MONTAUD's book and immediately registered for the training ...

A few months later, I started the courses. I knew right away that I was in the right place; I came home with the impression that everything I heard during this weekend sounded right.
It was not a theoretical and school-like training.
It was a therapy that touches the Human in its globality and uses the mouth as an entry point! and I am only at the beginning!!

I have a rubber device in my hands and some simple instructions ... it's just a matter of experiencing

I chew more or less regularly during the day and apart from a great fear, the first night, I wear it easily every night.
Over the stages, I observe the changes, first physical:
my neck and shoulder pains improve more and more; I stand straighter, I breathe better and sleep much better ... I am less tired, I have more energy.
On a behavioral level, I take more distance on events.
I have the impression of having a broader (global!) view of things and of less emotionally involved. I become more regular in the practice or rather the activator takes its natural place in my life.
I have more ease to express verbally things (without crying!!). My theater friends find me changed; I have the impression that they see me while before I thought I was transparent and without interest. People come to me more easily and I appreciate that; I also like to meet others.

Michel, this Dentosophy training is for me like a new impetus in my life, what I learn and put into practice every day has repercussions on my life in its entirety and on my surroundings.
I see my children, my husband, my close ones change or more precisely my view of them changes and it is felt in their life!

I have the impression of knowing finally what I want to do in my life, of being more and more in my place, of making choices consciously, of being more just, more coherent in my actions and in my feelings.

I have the impression of writing this text that it is too beautiful, too extraordinary... but No! it is true!
Of course, there are highs and lows, moments of breathlessness, fears, doubts but these moments last much less than before and I no longer let myself be overwhelmed; I react much faster and put actions in place immediately.

I know that I am only at the beginning of the path but I now advance with confidence and gratitude towards my guides; I am happy with my life here and now; I want to share all this and say to others:
"I see in your mouths that you suffer... you can do something... It just takes accepting to take a step, a small step without clinging to the safety rail, just a step... and you will see!"

"What we are going to undertake is an expedition together, a voyage of discovery into the most secret corners of our consciousness. And for such an adventure, we must start light, we cannot be weighed down with opinions, prejudices, conclusions: all this old furniture that we have collected for two thousand years and more.
Forget everything you know about yourself; forget everything you have thought about yourself; we are going to start as if we knew nothing." Krishnamurti
